Rudy van Buren eraf getikt, podium Bono Huis in The Race All-Star Cup + UITSLAG

De vijfde ronde van The Race All-Star Cup is gewonnen door simracer Erhan Jajovski. Op het virtuele circuit van Sebring bleef de Sloveen in een LMP3-auto de Nederlander Bono Huis voor. Yuri Kasdorp legde beslag op de vierde plaats. Een andere landgenoot Rudy van Buren had zich als tweede gekwalificeerd, maar door een crash in de eerste ronde viel hij terug. IndyCar-coureur Gabby Chavez was op de vijfde plaats de beste professionele coureur voor ex-F1-piloot Stoffel Vandoorne.
De eerste Esports races van The Race waren losse evenementen, maar de race in Sebring was de eerste van een kampioenschap. De beste professionele coureur mag een bedrag van 30.000 dollar uitgeven aan een goed doel, terwijl de beste simracer een simulatorsessie bij een Formule 1-team wint.
In Sebring waren er weer drie voorrondes en een herkansingsronde, waarna de 20 beste coureurs zich mochten opmaken voor de finale. In de derde bocht ging het mis voor Van Buren na contact met Dennis Lind. Dat gaf Jajovski een riante voorsprong en Huis de gelegenheid op te stomen naar de tweede plaats. Door al het tumult klom Chaves van P11 naar P5, maar hij werd even later ingehaald door Kasdorp.
