Sign of Life! Superleague Formula in September 2012 to Assen
The TT Circuit Assen is at the start of a great motorsport and car racing season with a nice full calendar. In April, the season kicks off successfully with AutoMaxx Street Power and the Easter Races for motorcycles, the National Motorcycle Days and the World Superbike Championship. The highlight in June is traditional; the TT Assen, but there is more fireworks in the form of the Superleague Formula on September 2. Last year, former F1 driver Robert Doornbos, Ho-Pin Tung and Yelmer Buurman, among others, were in action with the 750HP-strong racing cars.
The Superleague Formula will come to Assen for the third time in the first weekend of September. Furthermore, the Gamma Racing Day is still on the calendar in August, after its successful premiere in 2011. The Dutch Supercar Challenge Final Races conclude the year. In addition, there are numerous motorcycle races and other events at Assen.
