Het is misschien wel de belangrijkste test voor Robert Kubica. We hebben het dan over de tweedaagse bandentest van Pirelli in Abu Dhabi. Volgens de geruchten zou de Pool al een voorcontract hebben, maar dat slechts papieren rompslomp de zaak ophoudt. Aan Kubica ligt het niet. Hij draaide vanochtend alweer een flink aantal ronden, en heeft alweer 32 rondjes op de teller!
